Happy Friday! This is a super short but very special post today. As of today, October 24th, 2025, the CD-ROM Rabbit Hole Cover Compilation is officially FREE for anyone who is interested in owning these incredible cover songs. This compilation is so deeply beautiful to me. The way we managed to get a large group of people together to all contribute to a good cause and help build a community, it is simply incredible. I am so proud of the work everyone put in, how we managed to solve problems and find amazing solutions, it was an absolute work of art. I am very thrilled to continue on this tradition (hopefully) every year, and I am super ecstatic to grow this project and continue building a community and helping out where I can help out whenever and wherever I can. I would love to give an absolute huge shout out to the following people (in alphabetical order):

For their incredible covers, and to the bands who had their songs covered, thank you so much for being willing to share your music and help these artists learn your songs. Everyone did such great work. I would also like to thank all of the musicians that have trusted me, and up-and-coming music reviewer, to properly write about their art in an appropriate and loving way, in the hopes to shine a spotlight on the thankless work musicians do. So without further ado, here is another huge wave of thank you’s and shout outs:

Now, let’s jump into the really exciting news. As of today, we were able to raise 255 dollars from this compilation album to donate entirely to Rock To The Future, a nonprofit organization that provides musical instruments and lessons to underprivileged/at-risk children in and around Philadelphia. This is an incredible organization, I love all the work they do, and we were all able to come together as a group and agree that this was a cause we were all happy to be supporting. Below, I have attached some images for transparency’s sake. I want everyone to see how much we earned, how we earned said money, and exactly how much was donated (all of it, plus some).

To give you an idea of how this money will be used by Rock To The Future, with our 255 dollar donation, we have potentially paid for fifty children to have a subscription to Soundtrap, ten sets of drumsticks and guitar strings, five hours of students receiving tech support, repair two or three instruments, or a weeks worth of homework support for students. In reality, I’m sure this money will be put towards some sort of combination of all these things, but it is very nice that Rock To The Future gives us an idea of how we are specifically helping. Is 255 dollars the most money in the world? Absolutely not. Is it the smallest amount of money in the world? Absolutely not. All these bands, AND YOU, came together to make this happen, and that’s 255 dollars that they wouldn’t have gotten if we hadn’t done this. To all of us, it was just a few bucks here and there, all chipping in together, but to some kid out there, this could be life changing. We, here at CD-ROM Rabbit Hole, LOVE Rock To The Future, and we are so happy we were able to contribute ANYTHING to their cause. I know I’m rambling now, but this really makes my heart feel so full and I can’t express how much gratitude I have for every single person involved in this endeavor. Thank you all! Support small artists! Have a happy Friday!
